Birthday Breakfast

We kicked off celebrations for Brandon's golden birthday at La Mie - the best little bakery in town!
Happy, Happy Birthday, Handsome!
Brandon had his favorite - the Tuskegee, a DELICIOUS dish that you just can't understand until you taste it.  If you're epicurious, check it out here:

I opted for French Toast with peanut butter, bacon, bananas and maple syrup. Here is the closest recipe I could find - Emeril uses strawberry jelly too - may have to try that at home!

Yum!

Merry Christmas!

Celebrating the wonderful gift of Jesus this Christmas, and praying your Christmas was as blessed as ours!

Hosted Christmas Eve dinner for the first time ever this year!

Spent Christmas morning at the Ramsay house.

Jonah named Brandon his "partner" and insisted on sitting next to Brandon for every activity.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above."
James 1:17

Brandon and Jonah microwaved Peeps candy and were AMAZED at how big the snowmen got!

A handmade ornament for Daddy that Jonah made at school. He was SO proud!

After watching the Muppet's Christmas movie, Jonah decided he needed to write Santa a letter and ask for a sweater.  Turns out Santa knows him very well and brought the perfect train sweater.

Went to the Hays house for Christmas dinner and an entire afternoon of opening presents!

You can never have too many...
Sherri: PJs!
Genevieve: Kinds of Make-Up!

Guess Santa knows us pretty well too!

New knives were put to use before the end of the day!

Best gift ever - pictures of family by a most talented photographer.

Jesus Is the Gift
that perfectly fits every heart,
and it is with His love that all celebration starts.

We rejoice in Him as we remember His birth
and thank God for sending His only Son to earth.

His life led from a manger to a cross on a hill,
where He faithfully followed His Father's perfect will.

He freely laid down everything so that we could live,
and there is no greater treasure anyone could give.

Like a scarlet ribbon His love wrapped around the cross,
and He offered it to us all at the greatest cost.

So when we give from the heart we remember what He's done
and honor the perfect gift--God's one and only Son.

Engagement Photos

We were so blessed to have Brandon's sister-in-law, Kerri, take our engagement photos. She did an amazing job - we couldn't be more happy with the way they turned out.

Thank you, Kerri!
